have just been told my papp-a is low and my risk for down’s syndrome is 1:112 does anyone have experiences with this please? i’m getting the nipt next monday but i’m just worried now. i’m not even so much worried about the down’s syndrome risk in all honestly i’m more scared about the low papp-a as read it’s linked to late miscarriage and my cousin just lost her baby at 20 weeks

Do you know what your papp a level is?

My Papp-a was 0.24 I think, my downs risk was 1 in 18. I had a NIPT and all was fine.

Due to the low Papp-as I had additional scans for growth. DS was a little small but no abnormalities.

@ncpregnancy I wouldn't be concerned. My pappA was 0.3 NT 2.4 and BHCG 1.9 MOM, risk was 1 in 16, nipt came back low. 20 weeks scan showed no markers and no concerns. Your risk is less than 0.5%
