So my twins are 4 month old and have been really good with sleeps and even starting sleeping though the night within a week of turning three months but lately they have decided to be a right nightmare to put to sleep. Its getting them to sleep can they have a nice bath bum change and bottle but nope they won’t have it they don’t just cry they scream and sometimes it getting really bad I start about 7 but they don’t actually go to sleep till like 9-9.30ish once they are sleep they sleep till like 6am have their bottles then back to sleep till 9-9.30ish. I’m just starting to feel a bit shit over it all

I know you don't want to hear it but that's amazing sleeping for tiny babies! My son slept for only 20 minute intervals at that age. They don't have colic do they? Just from the screaming and it being a nighttime thing. My son suffered bad and it was hard work. You've got this mama 💪🏻 it gets easier I promise

Though the initial part I'm sure is frustrating and lengthy surely 9pm to 6am is sleeping through the night? Also unfortunately 2 hours of pre bedtime isn't out of the ordinary at all, especially as they get older! Soon enough it will be hours worth of bath and stories and a million requests for drinks...

@Ttcmumma thats what I thought I’ve gave them a bit of gripe water which sorta helped well with the popping anyway lol they do wind quite well I dunno what else to try.
@NC2315 the night time sleeping isn’t a problem it’s the first initial getting them to sleep which is a nightmare for the age they are they sleep really well. Take this morning they went to sleep at 9 last night at twin 1 woke up at 5 for his bottle and bum done then was asleep by 5.45 then twin 2 woke up for the same and now they both snoring their little heads off lol.

Have you tried infacol? That's quite good, sometimes it's the type of milk they're drinking too/ if you're breastfeeding then can something you're eating x

It’s the 4 months sleep regression OP so you have my sympathies and I will prepare yourself that it might get worse. My DD was sleeping through the night and self soothing from 6 weeks old but as soon as we hit the 4 months sleep regression I had to spend hours to put her to sleep. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it and just have to survive it, babies go through a huge developmental spike at 4 months and their sleep changes to match a more adult pattern sleep. Hopefully they continue to sleep through the night and you only have the bed time routine problem.
