Local maternity units are related requires improvement and inadequate nearby. One 15 miles away has got ‘good’. Is it worth factoring this in when deciding which hospital to refer through? TTC and just thinking about all the options!

I think it depends if you have a high risk pregnancy or not. My trust is deemed inadequate but other than a delay in getting my c-section date through, I couldn’t fault them. It also meant that they were under a lot of scrutiny so think they were trying to improve - it also meant that triage shut early if they were busy to ensure that they had enough staff dedicated.
