Understanding centiles

Can anyone help me to understand centiles please?

Had my 20 week scan yesterday (20+5) and been reading through my notes and looking online but can’t seem to understand the centile graphs…

Sonographer did say that baby is growing perfectly and is a good size baby, but I’d still like to understand what the graphs mean…

I’ve attached a photo of my graphs

Thank you

Basically the centile lines represent 10th, 50th, and 90th centile. So the middle line is basically the size an average baby will be at each gestational age, with the other two lines being the normal range borders. I.e. anything outside that is too big or too small.

From what your graphs are showing you have a baby pretty much bang on the 50th centiles across the board. Perfectly grown and proportional.
