Just how early can SPD symptoms start?

Hi. I'm 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I've been a bit worried about this ache I've been getting. It's low down in my groin, around my pubic bone. It absolutely throbs all day long and I get it every day. At first, I dismissed it as ligaments stretching etc but now I'm also getting aches in my lower back and hips too. I'm concerned that it might be SPD setting in. I had SPD last time (but just mildly) - surely it's far too early to be getting SPD pains? Does anyone else have any experience of SPD and its symptoms starting this early?

It does sound a bit early but I get symptoms with periods sometimes so it could be. Mine started early this time, painful by 12 wks but I started wearing my support belt and it improved, I'd say if you have one start using it in case, it can't do any harm and do all lof the stuff you were told last time so try and keep it at bay. HTH

That's great advice - thanks, damewashalot. I'll dig out my support belt from last time and I'll try to remember that I shouldn't run up and down stairs from now on.

Don't forget to keep your knees together too
