I’m 40 weeks today and have been having contractions on and off since Wednesday evening. They go all day 10-15 mins apart, sometimes stopping for a few hours, and are intense enough that I know they aren’t BH but don’t seem to get more intense. They then die off every evening from about 10pm and start up at 9am the next morning. I went to triage on Thursday and the midwife said I’m about 1cm dilated and my cervix is near the front. I feel so disheartened that everything is taking so long!
I have spent endless hours walking, on the ball, in the bath. Nothing seems to make a difference!
Does anyone have any experiences they could share?
