8 weeks measuring 6

I went for a scan today and judging by my last period I should be 8 weeks exactly, I tracked ovulation and ovulated on day 16. The internal ultrasound picked up an embryo measuring 3.2mm CRL which they said is a pregnancy of 6 weeks exactly, dating me 2 weeks behind. Does anyone have any stories of this happening to them?

Hiya, I do but not a happy ending I'm afraid.

Baby stopped growing just after that scan and MMC was detected at dating scan.

Every pregnancy is different, remember that 😊

Mine was a week behind and everything was fine. I tracked ovulation using bbt and OPKs but obviously got it wrong!

@LW678 thank you, I'm 8 weeks now and had a scan at epu last week which measured me at 7 weeks. Got a private scan in 2 weeks (originally booked before the epu scan so moved) then will have dating. How are you getting on?

Aw lovely, congratulations! I don’t have anymore scans booked in now until my 12 week scan so really it’s a waiting game to see if baby catches up or if I’ll miscarry before then!

Hoping to try again in the New Year, that’s the only thing keeping me positive after 2 miscarriages this year x
