Worried sick

I just found out yesterday that I am approx 7 weeks pregnant. It was a bit of a shock as I got a negative result 2 days before AF due and then AF came on 22/2. I have posted already and MN's have said the Feb AF was probably implantation bleeding, which I though myself however, I have been reading through several threads and I have now got myself worked up into a panic thinking Feb AF may have been an early miscarriage and reason HPT's are + is because there is still HCG in my body. MY AF wasn't particularly heavy and didn't contain clots or anything, but it wasn't particularly light either, which implantation bleeding seems to be - Please help

How do you know you are 7 weeks? Was it a home test? If so I suggest you go to your GP or an early pregnancy clinic if you are lucky enough to have one near you. They should answer you doubts and worries.

My thoughts are that if you had no clots and you are reading + now when 2 days before AF you were - then you are PG. The levels have obviously climbed.

Let us know everything is OK, it is natural to worry and hopefully you have 9 months more of it to come (OH and the reat of your life).

X posted. I had really bad cramps when I thought AF was coming, very sore boobs as well - thought I was in for a really bad month - turned out I was PG with DD - so maybe that is a good sign?

We are trying ttc but when 'AF' came in Feb I just thought it was another unlucky month howver I have been experiencing extreme bloating and backache plus really painful boobs since thursday so I just thought yesterday that I'd do a HPT, not for a minute expecting to be pregnant, and there it was, a BFP! I'm assuming 7 weeks as from the date of Jan AF. Going to phone GP first thing tomorrow and get appointment as soon as

Thanks Clapton, although epu phoned last night to say person doing scan is off sick so I've now to go on Thursday instead. I was so psyched up for today, I know the time is just going to drag in till Thursday

Well, went to EPU today for a scan and they found nothing, even did an internal scan and nothing there either. I was so upset, couldn't stop the tears. My beautiful 21 month ds was standing beside me with his wee fingers curled round mine (this probably made me worse)Anyway on a slighly positive note they took blood and my HCG level is 91. The midwife thinks it may just be a very early pregnancy and this is why nothing is showing up yet. She is completely baffled though by the dates I gave her for LMP and b'ding, as nothing seems to match up - this is making me feel very pessimistic as well as confused. Also, they don't do blood tests at the w/end so have to wait until Monday to test levels again. Please cross everything for me, thanks x P.s did another HPT on Tuesday night; + result appeared quickly

Oh so sorry to hear that you didn't get to see anything yet but do hold on and see what the result it. But even if it is a failed implantation, your body is ready and able to make a baby and for some of us (me included) a miscarriage one month is followed closely by a successful pregnancy.

I miscarried three or four weeks before I conceived this pregnancy (now 20 weeks). If it is bad news, consider it a delay, not a disaster. Sometimes there's just something genetically wrong with the embryo but that doesn't mean you won't make another successful one.
