Okay so I'm just wondering if me and my midwife are being to hopeful ! Or if it's actually possible ( before I get the will only work if baby is ready ect i knowww) basically I had a sweep today at 38+1 I was so tense and in pain I was like pushing the midwife's hand out with my vagina muscles 😂 but anyways she managed to get a finger tip in and sweep around a little. She said the baby's head is definitely pushing down on my cervix. But she couldn't go all the way in cause I was so tense but managed to whip a finger tip around in there. I said to her this isn't gonna do much is it and she said actually let's no be to down as she still managed to irritate and baby is clearly getting ready and that I have age on my side so I'm quite stretchy and things can happen quick..... has anyone had a sweep and only got a finger tip in and it worked or less lol ..... I've had mild cramps at random times. It's been 7hrs
