Maternity allowance - self employed

Hey. For those who are self employed, did you have any trouble claiming maternity allowance and did you get the full amount??

Following as I've been trying to work this out myself today!

@Ttcmumma I've just sent my application off in the post but I have no idea what I might actually be entitled to. It's not overly clear.

Think it's based on class 2 NI contributions and if you haven't paid enough you should get the option to increase your contributions so you get the full amount of MA
