Pain after d&c

Hi,

I unfortunately had to have a surgical evacuation last week following a missed miscarriage.

I was told to expect cramping and light bleeding afterwards.
However the pain seems to be getting worse (day 5) and I wouldn't describe it as cramping more shooting/achy.

Has anyone else been through the same with similar symptoms? I don't want to panic prematurely but I have no idea whether these are normal symptoms or not.

Can you tell me what your bleeding or discharge looks like?
any odour from the vagina or feeling fluey at all?

I had two and that wasn’t the case for either of mine. Did they give you details of who to contact in case of any issues? If so then I’d be giving them a ring. If not then get back onto the hospital.

Thanks both for responding. Light fresh red bleeding, no odour.
I'm on 7 days antibiotics as a precaution.

They did, I just don't want to waste their time if its normal and I've already had so many trips to the hospital, its so deflating :(

I would raise this with someone OP . I didn't have any pain to be honest so I'd say best to check to be safe x

Thanks all. I spoke to the hospital, can be normal but I'm having bloods checked next week in case.
