Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone has been prescribed metoclopramide for morning sickness please

Hi, what were you prescribed before this? I've tried both cyclizine and I'm on prochloperazine but I'm having really heavy fullness feeling like my digestion has slowed down completely and get indigestion and heartburn despite omeprazole

This imagine is from https://www.pregnancysicknesssupport.org.uk/

How are you finding that medication?

I was told a combination can work well but my doctors aren't interested to prescribe anything more

I'm still vomiting just not as much

I have hyperemesis and have been prescribed everything 😆 how are you holding up/how far along are you? Its bloody miserable so sending you a big hug as I lie here feeling both incapacitated and incredibly guilty for still being unable to complete bedtime with DS1.

Metoclopramide - the worst for me, it made me feel worse (didn't think it was possible, either).

The 2 that have worked ever so slightly are:

Cyclizine - can take the edge off the nausea so that you don't want to run out into the street naked screaming "HELP ME"

Ondansetron - hasn't done much for the nausea but enables me to keep some food and fluids down... at 14 weeks and I feel its beginning to stop working as well though.
