Bleeding 16 weeks

Has anyone had bleeding at this point in their pregnancy with no cause found. I’ve had an internal examination and they found no ectropions and my cervix was closed upon checking. I then bled the following morning which I put down to the examination. They briefly found baby’s heartbeat on Doppler but they are very low down at the moment so wasn’t completely clear (they didn’t seem concerned though) I had a scan last week showing baby was fine after my first initial bleed. But just can’t shake this feeling. Seems strange to have no explanation. Could my cervix be closed but bleeding be coming from my uterus?

I hope you are doing ok. I remember this stress. I bled throughout my pregnancy last year. There was no cause found at all during the pregnancy and it was tough to not have any answers. When my baby was born the surgeon said that my womb was very vascular (apparently loads of veins?) and that was probably the cause. I had a smear after a few months and the nurse said my cervix area was also very vascular and the pressure of baby could have caused it.

I obviously got it checked every time but it was always fine and baby was absolutely fine! Wishing you luck 💐

Thank you so much, it’s nice to know there can be no reason and everything go okay! I’m just anxious now, this is my third pregnancy and I never had any of this with my other two children. It’s a bit of a change!

Hi gal. I’m 23 weeks now, had some bleeding at 17+6. It wasn’t a lot but enough to worry me. EPAU seen me and gave me a scan and all was fine, not sure the cause but haven’t had any since. Just ring if it happens for reassurance and get a scan but it can happen and they may never know the reason 💖 hope your ok x

At 13weeks pregnant with twins i have been bleeding, but that night specifically I have a loads of bleeding, I went to the hospital the following day and say the babies are ok, but I might possible have a miscarriage is that fact. I am now 16weeks pregnant and i have been seeing some small amount of bleeding from that night on
