I'm 34 weeks and been told that baby's head is pretty low now. Do I need to worry? It's my first baby 😬

No, my daughters head was engaged from 36 weeks and she came at 40+2 . X

My baby engaged at 37 weeks, born 42+1!!

Head being engaged has no impact on when baby will come. It often happens early on with your first

Oh right I didn't realise that. I've been on edge since finding out...

@Rose1999 usually the midwife tell you that it doesn’t mean anything. Unfortunately you could still go well overdue. It’s a good thing though as it means baby is where they are meant to be and not likely to suddenly turn breech or anything like that

I was told by midwife at 34 weeks that she was sitting at the top of my pelvis and since my 36 week check she’s now engaged slightly. I wish it was an indicator of how long left to go as just want her to arrive now, getting impatient! Haha

First babies engage early. My first was engaged at 31 weeks and stayed there for 8 weeks. It doesn't mean a thing.

That does make me feel better. I've felt so achy these past two days.
