Post c-section uti

Has anyone else suffered dizziness with a uti? I never knew it was a symptom until seeing a consultant today 😩

I didn't have dizziness, but I did find that it wasn't quite like a normal UTI. It hurt to pee, but it was my whole stomach that hurt for the duration of the pee, rather than the ground glass feeling. I thought it was just stuff re-settling after birth and the operation, but I was quite wrong. Normally, UTIs make me feel systemically rough, but this was very localised and kind of weirdly mild, even though it finally showed its true colours after ten days or so!

Hi, yes I had this as a symptom. I developed a UTI after my c-section (from the catheter) and had to go into hospital and be put on wide spectrum antibiotics as they didn't know where the infection was for a while. Look out for fast heart rate and a temperature as well but I take it you're probably already on antibiotics if you've seen a consultant already. Take care, hope you feel better soon x

@Floryella thank you I just thought the fuzzy head would start to ease now:( but I guess I need to give the full course of antibiotics x
