1st Trimester - feeling ROUGH

So I am thrilled to be almost 8 weeks pregnant - however I am less thrilled with how rough I feel.

I was warned about 1st trimester but Christ I feel terrible. Nausea seems to be ramping up and I feel sick from the moment I wake up until bed time. On top of the fatigue, I would like to crawl into bed for the next few weeks.

I have tried ginger candies, ginger tea, bland carbs and just started vitamin B6 tablets. I probably just need to 'man up' and power through but is there anything that has helped people get through the first trimester?

Feeling very sorry for myself haha.

Thanks in advance xx

Hi sorry for the late response, I am same as you but I am 6 weeks. The only thing so far that's helped me, is the anti sickness bands you can buy from Amazon that's like acupuncture on your wrists. I've also found eating every 2 hours helps whether it be a banana or a yoghurt something light. I'm struggling too with the nausea and fatigue but the nausea has definitely improved since doing this. Keep drinking lots of water too, I've heard warm lemon water helps too although not tried this yet.
I'm hoping for us both it eases in 2nd trimester 🤞 I've been signed off work cause I can't cope with it and trying to focus in my job. Maybe that'll help you rest too?
