Delivering at around 36/37 weeks. I'm torn between first Size and up to 1 month in next. 26 weeks and sonographer said they are a good size already. Whatever that means. 🤣

I think it's difficult to know until they actually arrive. Mine were born 37+2, and 6lbs5/6lbs6 (which was bigger than scan estimates). I had quite a bit of up to 6lbs / 7 lbs clothing that didn't get any wear, but which I've since gifted to a friend with a preemie, so still got used. I'd suggest maybe getting just a few bits in the First size so they're ready just in case, but it's pretty easy these days to get hold of things last minute, so I wouldn't get too much in the small sizes. I hope that helps!

@Ella31 Depends the size when they are born my twins was 8weeks early and was in tiny baby and prem clothes as they only weighted 3.9&4.1 but they will soon grow like mine now they 12lbs I weighted them today…I would get some tiny baby as spending on where u get them from they could fit or be slightly big I’ve got some tiny baby that are up to 7.5lbs and they are still big so I would say tiny baby or my first size

We found Next up to 1 month huge – it absolutely drowned my very-good-birthweight newborn (single birth), and she wore it for something like 3 months. So if buying from Next, I would definitely say first size! In general, I'd be quite surprised if newborn/first size was too small for twins.

Definitely first size if you're shopping at Next, I agree they come up very large. Mine was born at 8lb and was in first size for a couple of weeks.

Buy on vinted and get a bundle of both? It’s a shame to buy too many new babygros in tiny sizes, they only wear them a couple of times before they’re outgrown

Mine were about 4lb each and needed premmie size!
