Covid booster - fourth

So many people I work with have tested positive recently for Covid. My hospital had run out of vaccines but found a local pharmacy I can go to instead tomorrow. I have had my first two vaccinations and a booster since they came out. So this will be my fourth booster. Anyone else in the same boat? And did you have any side effects? Hoping I’ll feel okay for the weekend, the flu vaccine knocked me out for 12 hours. But I usually do have a small reaction and sore arm to that one.

Go for it. Try to get the XBB booster not the older one, you want it to be as up to date as possible. Ask what version your pharmacy has. The government has been offloading last year's vaccines in people which is honestly terrible as they aren't as effective against current variants.

There have been a few threads on this recently. I had my flu and covid booster on Friday- I was ten weeks (now 11) and had no side effects. I didn't fancy flu whilst pregnant and caring for a toddler... and there's a lot of covid going around, and unfortunately infections have been linked with miscarriage and stillbirths. So on balance I decided to go for it, but it's an individual choice. I should add I'm also medically compromised and a frontline healthcare worker- so risks are higher for me.

Thank you, super helpful advice

I had my fourth Covid vax a few weeks ago, no ill effects just a sore arm for a few days. My last booster wasn't through the NHS but when I was at home in North America visiting last Christmas - think it was the Pfizer bivalent. No idea what I had this time actually! Happy to have any protection for me and my babies however.

I had my booster two weeks ago along with my flu jab, no issues. I mean I felt like crap, but I already felt like crap at 7 weeks so nothing changed!
