Listeria worry

I stupidly ate a piece of very ripe mould ripened cheese at the weekend. I thought it would be fine as it was pasteurised, but stupidly didn’t check until after I ate it and that’s not the case. I had an episode of diarrhoea the night after (way tmi, but this is v unusual for me and never happened in pregnancy before) but have been ok since. I called the maternity line and they said only to go in if I had reduced movement, which I haven’t.

I know now that the risk of developing listeriosis lasts for 90 days and I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a test (would go private)? I’m 27 weeks and the thought of 90 days of worrying about this is awful! Has anyone managed to get a test? Or have any other words of wisdom!

I just googled 'private listeria test' and there are loads available, worth it if gives peace of mind. My understanding is that although yes it should not be eaten, the risks of actually developing complications are quite low. Also even if you are in any doubt, could try and present yourself at the maternity dept to get checked over, just say how worried you are.
