Second pregnancy, personal experiences?

I'm very very newly pregnant around 6/7 weeks with my second baby, my daughter is 18 months old. So far I feel absolutely awful and I don't remember feeling like this with first pregnancy.

I've had a throbbing headache for the last 2 days. Feeling sick soon as the evening hits, 4am this morning I thought I was actually going to be sick. My lips are so dry just to add to the list😂 my hips feels like they're being pulled from the inside. I'm falling asleep any chance I get

How was everyone's second pregnancy compared to their first? My first pregnancy was a dream. No sickness, the most calm pregnancy ever. I had the glow, the silky hair, all the good things. This time I'm as white as a ghost and I just want to drink sour cream and chive dive😂

I'm in the third trimester of my second pregnancy and it's totally different from my first, I'm 35 weeks and still throw up some days and that's the easiest bit to deal with. However there is a huge decade and a half gap between pregnancies so being much older is probably a lot to do with it.

My first was brutal, second has been much easier.

Second time around I was totally exhausted for the first few weeks, which I didn't get at all with first one. In fact I took the test (on Christmas day) partly because I wondered if the exhaustion meant I was UTD - we had been trying for a couple of months.

It cleared up at about 6 weeks and the rest was fine other than an awful pregnancy rash in the last 4-5 weeks that cleared up after birth.

Is it possible you just have a virus as well? there is an awful long cold doing the rounds right now. I hope you feel better soon.

My first was a dream and I barely felt pregnant, my second has been... Challenging. Sick until 19 weeks 😭 exhausted, could only eat bad food until 19 weeks. I'm definitely done after this one 😅 but it's early days for you, you might sail through the rest of your pregnancy!
