11+1

Noticed my boobs no longer hurt, they seem pretty much back to normal. I shot up by four pounds in first four weeks but am now back down by two, so only two pound gain, which I'd have put on in normal times having let myself eat as I am right now. I've not really had any sickness full stop so no difference there. My hunger levels feel like they are returning to normal rather than being ravenous. I'm not even as gassy as I was (lol, soz and that), not sure I'm dreaming as vividly and was getting pretty horrendous night sweats which have now gone. Although in fairness temperature has dropped (UK).

I am getting lightheaded and I'm more tired than ever, so they are reassuring signs.

Does this sound normal, or something I should be concerned of? I did have VERY minor spotting a few weeks back, but absolutely nowt since. Just not feeling pregnant anymore, when three weeks ago I really was feeling very pregnant.

I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks last year and spent the majority of that pregnancy not feeling pregnant so I guess... I dunno, it's probably fine. Me wittering about it isn't going to change things and I have my 12 week scan on Monday so not too long to wait. Just looking for others experience... Thanks x

Hi.
I wouldn't worry, honestly.
For one thing, pregnancy symptoms come and go all the time, and for another, you're almost in the second trimester, which is when pregnancy symptoms ease off anyway.
Do you think you're worrying because of losing your last baby? I know it's hard not to.

Im 16w with my third.
My boobs stopped aching about 5 weeks ago, although my nips are still sensitive if I brush them with clothing. All other symptoms have also gone (except the tiredness, although this is also less) and I also feel normal. No weight change either. Except for being thirsty.
It's been a few years but it feels pretty similar to my other two pregnancies by this stage, so you may be a week or so further on than you thought?

For my loss (missed mc at 7 wks, discovered at 12w scan) my symptoms didn't really change as I still had the hormones, but I remember just feeling weird. Like I knew it wasn't right. And it was a constant feeling.

Fingers crossed for your scan. My scan this time was such a relief.

I would love to say no but I think it's probably a given. I've been really chilled out this time by comparison to last, haven't had all the early private scans etc because I know that they didn't stop the miscarriage happening last time so I've been far more "what will be, will be", but short answer is that it inevitably probably is why Im a little concerned. Re second trimester, you are right, I've been dreaming of feeling more human and I might be a little more than my dates on paper as I tested positive so early, so it really might just be what I was praying for, which would be ironic given the anxiety 😂

With my son my boobs stopped hurting in week 10 so that all sounds normal to me. The placenta starts taking over at the end of the first trimester so that will account for a reduction in symptoms.

Thank you all, it's good to hear others experiences and what not. Only 7 sleeps to go!

I just had my 12 week scan yesterday, and for the past week have felt significantly "better" after weeks of terrible nausea, food aversions and exhaustion. I was worried just like you, but all looked good at the scan and my midwife said I should be happy I was probably turning a corner going into second trimester! 🙂I really hope everything goes well for you, and the scan can put your mind at rest a little x

Hi OP. I hardly had any symptoms this pregnancy. I had a week of nausea where I couldn't only eat exactly what I felt like at that time but I'm mainly just coasting along tired and a bit queasy every day still and cramps intermittently but not as much as at the start. My boobs being sore come and go. It's completely different to my last pregnancy where I felt absolutely awful. I've been anxious too as I had 3 early miscarriages and I just wasn't expecting to feel ok but try not to worry. I am 16 weeks now and healthy heartbeat yesterday.
It's hard isn't it admit you have symptoms you want them to improve, if you don't have them you want them! X

LittleDoveLove · 19/10/2023 17:46

Sorry if you have symptoms* that should be

Screwballs · 23/10/2023 16:28

Well, here they are, I've gone up by 4 days so that's an added bonus! Thanks so much ladies xx
