Any lone parent Facebook groups?

I'm going to be a lone parent, short relationship, now he won't respond to my messages. Any support groups out there?

Theres loads, I’m on 3 but the best one is probably single parents support and advice services.

Is that for lone parents? Single means you aren't with the father but he could do parents? I'm just wondering if I should broaden my searching as I was only using lone before.

I totally get what you mean, my ex isn’t around and it’s for anyone who isn’t in a relationship with their child’s other parent, so lots on there that coparent and have involvement from their ex I would say the vast majority do, sadly I’ve yet to find one solely for those that have no ex on the scene at all.

Maybe we should all get together and create one!! I'd love one with no ex involvement too. Totally different situation and can be lonely

Good luck op. I'm sorry to hear that. I was also single from pregnantcy, I would say please try to enjoy your new baby as much as possible and despite your justified anger leave the door open as sometimes they get back in touch later and might be ok dads or their family members might help you out.
