My 12 week scan, done at 13 weeks, shows a long nub, i really wanted to keep the gender a surprise so I feel like this long nun that I can't un see has spoilt the surprise abit as I keep thinking that must be a boy!

Not that I wouldn't want a boy! Just really wanted a nice surprise 😊

Forgot to mention the nub is straight, just quite long

I wouldn't say the length of the nub determines the sex, more the angle :)
I don't think you've ruined the suprise ❤️

No not necessarily! Girls nubs can be long too, they tend to be more long and thin whereas boys are shorter (so I’ve read anyway!)

I don’t think you’ve ruined the surprise x

Have u got a photo? The nub in my 12 week scan photo was long and straight and forked at the end and I’m having a girl x

@August21yellowbaby sounds like a girl to me!

Length doesn’t matter it’s whether it’s parallel with the spine (girl) or risen (boy)
