This is my first pregnancy and I'm currently 7 weeks. I'm just wondering what symptoms did you all have?

I've personally not had to many at this point but I'm finding that unless I drink Coke I feel nauseous? Or any type of fizzy drink?
Has anyone else experienced this.
May I add i don't ever usually crave these types of beverages!

Hi @sunshinebaby1
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I had waves of nausea too, it got better in my second trimester x

10+4

I've had significant boredom as the main symptom?! (I just want to bloody tell people now, I've known since 3 weeks!)

Jokes aside, I've been pretty ratty, not very nauseous although I have developed travel sickness, headaches, night sweats (honestly, its bloody gross), vivid dreams, increased night time urination, mildly sore boobs but I've had much worse previously. Oh and my face is just clearing up from the appearance of 6 spots in one week.

Let me not forget the HUNGER. And related newly developed hanger. God even writing the word makes me want food and woe betide anyone that gets in my way.

Ah, one last symptom. Gas. Lots of it. The only upside to peeing 3 times a night is a chance to escape to the bathroom to relieve the immense build up of wind.

Being pregnant is glorious.

Currently 9 weeks and symptoms are very similar to my first pregnancy so far - tiredness and waves of nausea that I can usually get through by eating something or chewing gum. Sounds like we have it pretty easy so far compared to a lot of people! I actually find I tend to slightly go off things that I have a lot so maybe that’s why you’re craving fizzy drinks you wouldn’t usually have, you could also try sparkling water if you like it to see whether that has the same effect without all the sugar.

I’m 9w4d and with the exception of no night sweats this could have been written word by word for me!

You are missing out, I love waking up to underboob sweat!

I'm 7+2

Tiredness (although my toddler may have something to do with that?!)
Sore boobs
Sickness/nausea in waves (if I let myself get hungry that's it)
WILD dreams. Every. Single. Night.
The nipples turning brown
Swollen boobs
Gas 😮‍💨

All come and go!

With my first I had only sickness (until 26w!)

Both my sisters were right as rain with no symptoms!

Scaredycats · 13/10/2023 20:33

I’m 13 weeks, main symptoms for me have been severe nausea and then vomiting from weeks 8 - 11. Extreme tiredness, again at its worse between 8 - 10 weeks. Sore boobs and nipples. Nipples getting more pointy. Severe bloating and wind, initially I had awful constipation but since stopping my multivitamin with iron this is loads better. Waking up several timers per night to pee! Not being able to clean teeth without gagging! Wild dreams as well.

Scaredycats · 13/10/2023 20:34

Oh and SPOTS! My skin isn’t very good in normal times and I usually rely on retinol to keep it under control which I obviously can’t have. But I’m waking up to about 5 new spots every day!

Congratulations! And snap, I'm 7+1 today with DC3 :)

I can definitely relate to the drinking coke thing! And it was the same in my last pregnancy (but I really tried to limit it and only had diet & caffeine free). This time so far, my favourite is a sharp citrusy lemonade. And all the potatoes. No veggies at all!

Hope you can manage any other symptoms and that all goes well for you.
