I am blessed with 2 children already. 6 and 16 months. I feel like it's now or never for me to try again now. Im 35 so age isn't on my side. We have the room for a 3rd. Things would be tighter financially but do-able.... has anyone had another when on the fence and regretted it?

For me it's about filling that "gap" in the family. I had three.... number four followed quickly, but once I had got him I knew I was done. Wasn't broody with babies anymore, felt I could get rid of everything "baby" that previously I'd kept.... I think it really is true that you know when you're done. It's a completely individual decision. I've never regretted any of mine

@3orstickto2
I would love to have 3 children!
I am one of 3 siblings, the house was always full and busy, loved it x

Yes we did! I love having three. They're 16, 14 and 9 yrs now and it was such a great decision. I really enjoy the pace of life and the general vibe in a larger household. I guess, ultimately, it feels familiar, as both dh and I were both the eldest of three when we were kids.

But we did have that wobble before we jumped. I think you have to be a generally optimistic soul to rock the boat with the hope and expectation that more good will come of it. It's a leap of faith, it's not for everyone.

I'm expecting my 3rd any day now and for me the decision was made when I looked into my future and saw 3 adult children. I'm 1 of 3 as well so that was a factor in my decision. Always felt like we are part of a team. It's a very personal decision but I knew I would always regret it if we didn't go for it. Good luck with your decision.

We went back and forth for years. Eventually decided to stick with 2. Am soooo pleased we did. Both have diagnosed SN and it's hard giving them the attention and help they need. Plus we are loving all the activities we are doing now they're older.

I love having three, never regretted it. But they are all healthy and have now all left home!

Thank you all! I think I'm gonna just go for it. Come off the pill and see what happens
