TMI Picture - 18weeks small streak of bloody mucus?

Hello all, as my subject says there's a bit of TMI, apologies in advance. I've had some lower abdominal cramps this morning, nothing painful, just uncomfortable and I've come to accept them as normal since I've had them from the beginning here and there and was checked a lot already.
I just went to the toilet and when I wiped there was this tiny streak of bloody mucus, is it something I should contact my MW about? I have a polyp on my cervix, could it be that?
Thanks!

I'd always err on the side of caution and speak to your midwife particularly if you've not had any bleeding in your pregnancy so far. Even if they just can offer you some reassurance.
Have you had your urine checked recently as sometimes if you have a UTI you can pass a little blood?

Hi @GoingToInfinity, I've actually had a couple of episodes of light spotting, was checked out and everything was fine (baby, cervix etc). I'm actually just finishing now a course of antibiotics due to an asymptomatic UTI but I don't think this came from the bladder. I'm just wondering how paranoid to be?
I can see it's very very small but it's a colour and consistency that I don't like very much if you know what I mean... 😒

The chances are, everything is fine as it's such a small amount, so I wouldn't worry too much, but it's still best to get checked over. Particularly if you've just been treated for a UTI it might be that it hasn't cleared properly and if so you may need different/stronger antibiotics. It could well be from your polyp too.

I ended up calling the midwife who said its most likely the polyp but since I've also had some pain, to go get checked at the hospital. Apparently at my hospital they always want you to call every time you have bleeding in your 2nd trimester, no matter how big or small, which I appreciate to be honest. Can't be too careful, can you?

I had a small amount of pink discharge at 17+ 6 and they gave me a scan. I was also on antibiotics for strep B. Everything was fine and no more since. Glad everything’s ok x
