Breathlessness at 31+3

Has anyone else experienced a ridiculous amount of breathlessness in their pregnancy. I’ve had it the past few days but today it’s even on standing and shuffling myself around the house…I’m having to lean on surfaces to get my breath.

Is it something to be concerned about or just another frustrating pregnancy symptom?

You definitely need to be seen asap. Call your gp unless your midwife can see you today. Do you have chest pain or cough? That degree of breathlessness is not normal.

Luckily I have a midwife appointment today so I will tell them about it. I will let you know how it goes!
Thank you for your advice. It’s so odd - when I’m sat it not too bad but on standing it’s awful.

Hey op. I have this as well. I’m 35+5. I’ve had it on and off but struggling a bit now as I’m bigger and further along as I stand and go I can feel it and also faint. It can be low iron! I had an apt today and my blood pressure is a little low so that can contribute as well! Hope your apt went well today x

Please get seen by medical expert. I had breathlessness at 26 weeks and it turned out To be a pulmonary embolism. My sats were fine and I thought it was just my iron
