Switching sides at 35 weeks

I am 35 weeks tomorrow, and at my 34 week midwife appointment baby was in the ideal position, head down (though not engaged) and on left side with back and bottom, kicks to right. She’s been kicking to the right side for the majority of my pregnancy actually and now suddenly today she’s switched sides!
Initially I was hoping she was just wiggling her bottom round when I felt some more movement that side, but I also didn’t want to acknowledge the bump on the right side that seemed like her bottom 😩
a lot of threads online seem to talk about baby switching from right to left which is obviously ideal, but nothing on switching to the right side and I’m just feeling a bit deflated because she’s usually on the left and I was happy to find out she was head down on the left less than a week ago. Now I’m worrying she won’t go back over there and she’ll end up in an awkward position for birth.
Not even sure if she’s head down anymore as haven’t felt as much pressure down there today! ☹️

The ideal position is having their back to your belly and facing your back. You don’t want baby to be on either side ideally. You still have plenty of time though, sit on a chair backwards, get bouncing on a ball, keep upright and leaning forwards as much as possible to get baby to move. It’s likely that the early contractions will help baby move into to optimum position too so don’t stress too much at the moment. But being on the left is exactly the same as being on the right.
