Had to TFMR and want to TTC again after 3 months of TFMR. Need some advice on if it's safe to try this soon? If anyone had any similar experience and advice on TTC after TFMR.

I was told it was fine as soon as I feel ready, they also told me I would actually be more fertile. Hope that helps. x

@YumLemonCheesecake thanks for your reply. Did you manage to get BFP and have baby?

Yes, I got a BPF 3/4 months later and I have a very gorgeous nearly 2 year old! I was so so nervous before the 12wk scan and it did take the excitement out of the pregnancy but I guess that's expected? Having the baby in your arms at then end is an amazing feeling. x

Hi, consultant said to me was fine to try as soon as I wanted. Had TFMR this July and am 7 weeks pregnant now (had one period, then got pregnant the next month luckily). Will be highly nervous before 12wk scan but hosp have offered an 8wk one in addition. Good luck to you and hope you are doing ok, its such an awful experience to go through x

@User69611 sorry about the TFMR but massive congratulations on your pregnancy 💐 hope it goes well for you 🍀

Hi I had a TFMR 5 weeks ago I was 16 weeks. I had to have surgery to remove my placenta as it was stuck. I’m desperate to try again I’m just wanting to hear if any body has had this experience and how long did they wait to try again? Thank you x

redredrednow · 10/03/2024 20:41

I had a TFMR at 14 weeks, then waited 3 months before trying again. It took me 7 months to get pregnant again, and i think my body just needed more time to heal

I tfmr at 15w&3d - non-surgical, and I’m just waiting to try again. We will be trying as soon as the bleeding from the loss stops. I will update the thread if we are lucky enough to get pregnant in the future. Xxx
