Birth stories

So, just wanting to hear some birth stories! Positive and negative. I’m only 20 weeks but starting to think about the birth. I am quite open to things and not going to rule anything out I.E induction, drugs, epidural etc but do have my preferences and what I think I want in my head. I know a lot of people have difficult times and it’s rare you hear any good positive stories so hoping some will come out here!

If possible I quite like the sound of a water birth so would like to hear some birth stories where people have laboured and/or gave birth in a birth pool and how it went/how you felt?

You can have a section if they decide to induce you. They will obviously try to convince you to go for induction as it might not end in a section, but my plan had always been to go straight for a section rather than induction if it came to that as didn't want days of labour for it to only end in a section anyway!

@LemonDrizz that’s exactly what I’m thinking. I’m praying to go into Labour naturally but if they want to induce me then I want a section as don’t want to go through the induction process only to need one anyway. Also don’t want to be in hospital for days without anything happening (I know I may need to stay in hospital after a section or going into Labour naturally but it’s not as likely). Did they let you do that?
