17weeks Discharge or mucus plug

Hello all, this is going to be a bit of TMI, apologies in advance.
I was on the toilet this morning when I heard a "plop" sound, so now driving myself crazy over whether it was normal discharge or mucus plug? I didn't really see any of it, and nothing came out on the toilet paper when I wiped. I'm not in any pain at the moment (although I usually experience some growing pains/tightening a handful of times a day).
Should I call someone just for peace of mind or can I just assume it was discharge? I read in several pregnancy books that it gets heavier from 17 weeks onwards.
Thanks xx

Hi @EllaChloe
I think it's discharge hun. I had something similar x

Likely discharge but even if it was some of the plug, it’s very normal for it to come away and regenerate throughout pregnancy. Doesn’t indicate anything about to happen

Thank you @Summer2424 for sharing, I'm inclined to think so as well. I've been a nervous wreck throughout, so every little thing makes me spiral 😱
