Heyyy all!

I’ve posted before about mood/ hormones as I’m one hormonal lady 😅. 35 weeks now and just sooooo pissed off and depressed about everything (I can laugh about it but obviously would rather not feel like this 🤣). Is it a combination of hormones/ physical symptoms/ discomfort etc or am I doomed to feel like this for the foreseeable? Hoping it lifts after the birth. Anyone else?!

You aren't alone! This last bit has been tough. I'm 38 weeks today, planned c section for next Fri and it cannot come soon enough!!

i have found I've had a slight burst of energy this week if that helps 🤣🤣 but 34-36 was particuarly rough I was exhausted and had no interest in ANYTHING and hated everyone!!!

Gloopyhoop · 06/10/2023 18:11

Yep I hear you! 37 weeks tomorrow & for the last few days I've just been so miserable & fed up! It didn't help a random consultant said they wouldn't induce me even though my baby's growth has dropped quite a bit 😠 at the rate baby's been heading she will be below 2nd centile but oh well, as long as the consultant is happy with her choices. Makes me so mad!!

Thanks for replying guys. It’s so nice to read I’m not alone. I can’t help but analyse my mood and really hope it’s just pregnancy related as I don’t want to succumb to PND 😩 but will deal with it if I do!

@LMM91x the end is in sight for you, it’ll fly in. Wishing you all the best for when the time comes. I’ve also opted for an elective section and I’m wishing the time away. Feel like a horrible mum to my three year old at the minute as my face is tripping me and I’m just snipping at her all the time and it’s not her fault!

oh @Gloopyhoop that would really frustrate me when your concerns sound so valid! Definitely advocate for yourself and push it if you become more worried - it’s not like it’s your body/ life! 😒 wishing you all the best 🤍

Quite normal to feel a bit pissed off with everything in these later weeks. Hormones end up all other the place, body starts preparing for labour, you're tired and everything hurts.

Gloopyhoop have that reviewed, I was told anything below 3rd centile would mean early induction especially if that's not the curve your baby was following.

Hello and yes!

I'm 35 weeks and the last few weeks I've been a mix of anxious (worrying about random stuff I can't control) and annoyed; mainly at my poor partner (for snoring, touching me, existing...!)

I'm also finding it hard to get to sleep and then I'm exhausted in the morning.

At least we've not got long to go now.

LMM91x · 07/10/2023 11:49

Lack of sleep is the worst and I feel like it exaggerates all our other feelings cos we are just so bloody tired. I'm up and down constantly to the toilet - and getting up is such hard work so I can't 'stay asleep' and zombie walk to the bathroom !!!

Gloopyhoop · 07/10/2023 15:14

@Puffinsandcreeks I did try and speak to someone different after but was told nobody was available. Then had an appointment booked for me for 2 weeks time for another growth scan. She was always following the 10th centile, when seen a few days ago she dropped to 5th, now she's heading towards 2nd. My last was an SGA baby but it apparently means nothing this time around. And to be honest part of me wants to be induced for selfish reasons (just uncomfortable and miserable!)

@TTCX2 thank you 💜 Really hope things level out for you after birth too, hormones are some crazy things!
