Just had my 12 week scan yesterday, sonographer was happy, baby had caught up 6 days from my previous private scan so was meaning 12 weeks exact. Baby wouldn't keep still and sonographer said that baby was behind belly button and that's the best place she got the photos from. I thought at 12 weeks baby would have been lower down so was a bit shocked at baby behind belly button so early but forgot to ask as was just so happy baby was fine. She didn't seem worried but is it normal for baby to be so high up? This is the 1st time I've ever gotten to 12 weeks after 1 mc at 5.5 weeks and 1 mc at 7.5 weeks so just so happy just found it weird.

Please don't read and run.

At around 12 weeks your uterus starts to move a bit higher as baby is growing and expanding. This is normal, and nothing to worry about 😊

Have read and haven't ran but I honestly don't know what position they're best in at this stage. I've only had one and he was always really low down so always made it hard to get measurements🤣 if there was any kind of problem though they really would have told you, especially with your MC history. Try not to worry and enjoy your pregnancy. Stress is the worst thing you can do. Congratulations, you've got this😊
