Hi all, I'm 35+5 weeks and I keep experiencing on and off pain that feels like strong period pain, it's radiates up the sides of my pelvis. Nothing eases it other than leaning forward on the edge of the couch with me lega wide apart. It's started around 2 weeks ago, increasing more regularly this week. Once the pain starts I could have it for 10 mins or an hour or a few hours and then it will ease off. It actually cripples me to the point I can't walk or stand and I feel like I need a poo. Any idea what this could be? I haven't lost my mucus plug and my waters haven't broke so I don't think it's labour plus it doesn't continue all day so I'm not worried its contractions. I'm currently sat over the edge of the couch now experiencing the pain.

try consulting a doctor

I also have this, although the pain doesn’t sound as bad as yours is. I still don’t like it though. I’m 37 weeks, had it for about a week or so.

I’m thinking it’s got something to do with baby getting lower in my pelvis? Baby is kicking away just fine, so I’m not too worried tbh.

Sounds like baby moving into your pelvis and getting into the correct position
