Period after miscarriage

Hi. Hope this is okay to post. I was told I had a miscarriage last week at EPU they put me at 6+5 and it was the week before that I had a bleed (very small & no pain) I'm just wondering does anyone have any advice for me as to when I can expect my period to come. I have been told it will be a heavy and sore one.

I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks, all over very fast. I had my period 5 weeks later - it was a tiny bit heavier but oddly less painful and far less premenstrual symptoms than I usually get

@PinkRoses1245 I'm sorry you went through that. I hope your doing okay. Thanks for the advice. It's all still a blurry mess for me at the minute. I just want to know what to expect and I understand everyone is different.
