Hi there ladies.

Having a low day feeling defeated and just looking for inspiration to stay motivated on my journey.
TTC for around a year now, been diagnosed with PCOS during that time so lifestyle changes have been made but no positive test as of yet!

Any inspo would be greatly appreciated!

Hang in there.x

I was diagnosed with pcos 10 years ago and was convinced I would never be able to conceive. At the start of this year I got my hormones checked out when we started ttc. I started taking Metformin and me & partner took pregnacare/wellman vitamins. As well as trying to eat low GI (very imperfectly). Lost about 1.5st due to insulin resistance problem being solved via metformin.

I also started tracking my ovulation with strips. Sometimes with pcos you can get a couple of false peaks throughout a cycle or can ovulate at unexpected times. I focused on trying to sort out my cycles via medication and diet and I am convinced this helped us.

Fast forward to now I am currently 7wks pregnant and no signs of polycystic ovaries on my early scan yesterday. Things can change, trust the process ❤️

@junebuglb thank you that helps me massively, I've made the changes with my diet, lifestyle, supplements etc so fingers crossed with just some patience!

Congratulations on your lovely news ❤️

It took me and my DH nearly 20 months to conceive and we were 24 nearly 25 when we started. Naively I thought it would happen quickly but it didn’t! There was no real reason even after both of us having investigations and long behold one month I was late for my period and I was pregnant. I’m now 26+3 and so far (fingers crossed) have had a textbook ‘easy’ pregnancy.

I tried everything - vitamins, tracking ovulation, no caffeine, no alcohol and in the end and I don’t believe it made any difference. In the end I started a new career and didn’t think about having a baby and et voila it happened.

Your time will come sometimes you just have to wait a little while for your dreams to come true. Good luck! X
