Not quite sure the point of this post, maybe some magical miracles that may have happened out there...

We went for a private scan today I should be 9 weeks on the dot (last period date was July 29th) and I ovulated on the 12/13th of Aug with OPK's.....

The lady did an internal scan which showed a sac and fetal pole measuring 6 weeks 6 days but found no heart beat... we are devastated and have been told to expect the worst, being referred to the early pregnancy unit on Monday to go from there.... I have had all the symptoms, have been super sick and have had no cramping or bleeding 🩸

Is there any hope 🙏🏼 what do you think!?

I'm very sorry to hear this, unfortunately it doesn't sound great. Sounds like a missed miscarriage but never give up hope of a miracle until a second scan to confirm. My 13 week 2 day baby had died at 10+6 without my body knowing. No cramping, bleeding and kept all my pregnancy symptoms, belly even continued to grow. I hope your story ends different but I ended up needing medical management x

Thank you ladies I appreciate your replies! I am so sorry about your loss, I can't even imagine how hard it must have been 🙏🏼 I'm trying to hold onto hope, just feels so rubbish :( x

Good morning ladies,

I thought I would update on here... This week has been soooo long, and unfortunately yesterdays scan showed what we feared. Baby had stopped growing :( We are booked in today for a D&C.... Just want to get everything over with now and try to start healing 🙏🏼

I’m so sorry! Sadly I’m in the exactly same boat, I also had a scan yesterday that confirmed a missed miscarriage. I’m now booked for surgical management next week. It’s heartbreaking….wishing you a lot of strength xx

I've been there ladies and I promise you will get through it even tho it doesn't feel like it now. Allow yourself time to grieve and feel every emotion you need to. I hope you both have lots of support around you xx

Thank you all for your kind messages ladies! I am home now and resting... the surgical removal went well, didn't feel any pain, just feel a bit crampy now and have had a bit of bld 🙏🏼 Paracetamol is helping.... @Cinai I am so sorry, this world is so cruel :( Please feel free to message me with any questions regarding your booked Op, I am sending lots of love and healing ❤️‍🩹 We will get our precious rainbow babies one day soon 🌈
