Hi all. I'm 7 months PP and this is my belly. I am now 71 kgs. Was 55kgs before 2 babies 14 months apart. I'm eating well and walking alot. Tried the MUTU system and might commit to that once my smallest is less needy. Has anyone had a case this bad and managed to make it somewhat smaller. Gap only feels like 2 fingers all the way up and down. 😕😕

Hi Op, I had a 3 finger gap in a diamond shape around my belly button. I’ve managed to get it to a 1-1.5 finger gap through visceral therapy with a mummy mot trained osteopath, as well as with exercises (not very regular exercise as my 6 month old is quite needy). Would definitely recommend the visceral therapy if you can find someone that does it. Would be interested to hear how you find MUTU as I would really like to get some core strength back!

Go to the GP and ask to see a physio. They will be able to give you basic exercises to strengthen your core and start to knit things back together. If anyone tells you to do stuff like sit ups or planks (anything that puts lots of pressure on your core) ignore!. Then if you want after that you can do more. I had a two finger gap and saw a brilliant physio who specialised in women's health. She said women are often told they just need to live with these things, when actually there's a lot you can do. I did the strength exercises for about a year and they really helped. I didn't do anything for a couple of years after that but got back into exercise and fitness properly this year and have a flat stomach again now. I feel so much stronger and better. No more back pain either. I hated the feeling of DR and how weak and slumped it made me feel. I hope you get sorted and start to feel better too.
