Hello all, I'm 15 weeks pregnant with an IVF baby and today I've had quite a lot of yellow discharge, plus mild cramps, plus a few very short lived stabby pains in the general crotch area.

I googled and one of the results said yellow discharge could be amniotic fluid so now I'm freaked. I have had yellow discharge throughout the pregnancy though and three healthy scans.

Most days I manage not to worry too much but today is not one of those days. I can't stop thinking about all the things that could go wrong.

Has anyone else experience this? Also if anyone has any tips on how to stop angsting, please share!

The stabbing pain up your vagina is everything stretching and growing.
The yellow discharge I wouldn’t worry about today as you have had it the whole pregnancy , but I would be getting it swabbed on Monday to be sure it’s not infection.

Hi OP, from about 16 weeks I had a lot of yellow discharge, I was wearing a liner daily because it was so much. I was swabbed a few times for infection/ thrush but all came back negative, so it can be very normal! Worth your midwife swabbing just incase, but was nothing wrong with me and baby is here and healthy 😊

@Cdoc Thank you. I'm seeing midwife on Wednesday so I'll ask her to swab me then just in case. I am also wearing liners every day! Hopefully this is just normal for me too.

I don't have the yellow discharge but I sure get the stabbing pains sometimes and yes they can freak you out but learnt that it is normal.
