Mild Cramping

Hi,

I have read on the NHS website and other various websites that it is normally to experience mild cramping pains in early pregnancy.

I have been experiencing mild cramping pains all week this week but I have been relaxing more as I tested positive for COVID last Sunday evening.

I am currently 5 weeks and due to be 6 weeks supposedly on Sunday.

However, I had a miscarriage in April/May of this year and I am conscious about the same thing happening again.

I have not been spotting or bleeding or anything. I have just been experiencing these pains. They tend to be every other day at the moment and last about 20 seconds then stop for about 20 minutes.

Is this normal for an early pregnancy? Like I said, I never had this before with my 1st pregnancy or my miscarriage as I had a missed miscarriage!

I had some little twinges around the ovaries when I was 4/5 weeks pregnant. They were not super painful but happened a couple of times daily. Went for an early scan at 7 weeks and all was good. They went away around 6 weeks. I think it isn’t anything to worry about.
