I drank half an M&s mocktail (not containing quinine) before deciding to check on the botanicals and finding that Juniper it is strongly not recommended(by US websites). However there are no references ro studies and baby mag recommends alcohol free drinks with Juniper. Has any-one drank Juniper containing drinks and been fine? 2nd trimester.

Personally I'd avoid US websites in pregnancy. Given them another couple of years and the list of food and drink women can consume will be water and... Er that's it.

I would wage money that this is based on some idiot reading up on use of concentrated doses of juniper berries being a stimulant. Its irrelevant to a drink which a tiny amount of juniper flavouring (which will likely be artificial anyway).

As above, US lists seem to be ridiculous. Stick to nhs guidelines.
