Morning all, I'm currently 15w2ds pregnant with my 3rd child. My eldest is 9 and my youngest is nearly 8 months, with the pregnancy and birth of my 8 month old being only a few months apart im wondering is this why my belly seems really big? And why I feel absolutely huge? I was told at my 1st scan we are expecting a baby girl, could this also be why I'm looking and feeling huge? (My other 2 children are boys) has anyone else had children this close together?

The sex of the baby has absolutely nothing to do with your size.

The fact that it is your third pregnancy, does. You tend to show earlier in subsequent pregnancies.

@ASGIRC will agree with you 💯 %

@Charlsberg1 just thought I'd say after having 4 boys I'm now carrying a girl & tbh this bump that I have with her is the smallest I have had compared to carrying all my boys! so I personally wouldn't say it has got nothing to do with the baby's sex... its your 3rd pregnancy so your abdominal muscles have been stretched twice before hence why you can show earlier when you have subsequent pregnancies x

It's just because it's your third pregnancy, you get bigger quicker. You may not end up bigger at the end but it just stretches quicker etc. This is my 2nd living child but I got to 14 weeks with the baby I lost in-between. I'm only 11 weeks and have to be cautious of what clothes I wear as you can definitely see a decent sized bump already. No idea of gender yet of course x

Sorry for your loss, its not easy. This is technically my 6th pregnancy, I've lost 3.
