Hi

Could anyone settle my nerves, first time pregnant and not told anyone other than my partner yet! I’ve tested tonight because I haven’t really felt any symptoms today and a cheap test come up with a faint positive line but last Saturday I got a positive 1-2 Clear Blue. So I’ve had to go the shop tonight and get another but it still says pregnant 1-2 even though it’s almost been a week since I last tested. I am aware that my pee will be super diluted right now so going to wait until Saturday morning and do my first wee on a clear blue again but my mind just can’t help but worry! Did this happen to anyone else?

Thanks!

Sorry I'll be no use settling nerves as I'm
also a first time mum, but feeling very similar! I tested positive on Tuesday and am just in disbelief - I'm only 3 weeks 5 days but I've done about 5 other test since then and all show positive but are still very light, apart from the 1 digital which showed 1-2 weeks. I just can't believe it's real, and although I'm excited I'm very nervous that it's just so early.

Hey, yeah I’m the same! I’ve taken about 6 tests and they’re all positives, I did a first response on Tuesday and that positive line come up straight away and very strong. Then the first one I did tonight still shown positive but the line is very faint so then I panicked and went and got the clear blue!

We’re so excited that it’s happened because we haven’t been trying for long but I just don’t feel that I can be that lucky! I’m going to do another clear blue on Saturday (it’ll be 1 week since I got my 1-2) so I’m praying I get my 2-3. Just can’t stop my brain going crazy.

Congratulations to you :)

It's so difficult with your first pregnancy, there's so many nerves! You'll drive yourself crazy keep testing, there's no benefit to it. You've got your positive and you know you're pregnant, you don't need to keep resting. Symptoms can vary from day to day. I'm currently pregnant with my second and at week 6 I was feeling so sick and gagging at everything and then the next week this was totally gone. No issues though and I'm 16 weeks now!

Thank you so much for your message! I know I need to focus on the positives (quite literally) and try not worry too much. I think once I’ve told my friends and I can talk to those about symptoms I’ll be a lot better.

Your message has settled me though, thank you again :)
