Carpal tunnel

I feel very lucky to be pregnant, but have had difficulty sleeping at night with pain in both hands from carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm 25 weeks and it seems like quite a lot of weeks to go before it's likely to pass after delivery. I got some wrist straps which don't seem to do much, and can access a physio appointment through work, but is there anything else I should do?

I suffered from this - my GP gave me steroid injections in both wrists at 23 weeks which made a huge difference. I'm 29 weeks now and my hands are starting to feel a bit stiff and painful again in the mornings especially if I don't wear my wrist splints at night. Hoping it doesn't get too bad again before December! I'd book a GP appointment and really push for the injections.
