Replacement fabric/hood for Moses Basket

Hi everyone

I wondered if anyone knows if it is possible to buy new fabric inners and hoods for Moses baskets. I went to a NCT nearly new sale at the weekend and picked up a great Moses Basket and stand cheaply, which are in good condition, but the fabric could do with replacing and the hood doesn't stay upright. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

There is a seller on ebay, she has several different designs for sale/auction. Wont let me do a link to it but this is the number to one of her items 300204372494,just stick it in the serch box on Ebay.
I do know that you can buy new hoops for the hoods too but cant remember where I have seen them, but you probably only need some new plastic screws for yours.Maybe if you ask this seller the question she may know where to get the hoops or screws from too.

Just spotted hoops and fittings on Ebay, heres the number-370028773842.

You could just save the expense and not bother and just use the old ones.Mine was brand new and still the hood fell down....from Mothercare too, took it off completely when I used it for DS2 and they are out of them in no time anyway.

I didn't think the hoods were meant to stay upright!! I'm sure in the shops those plastic screws have been superglued together.

Thank you for your advice. I wouldn't normally bother about the hood but we live in a block of flats that is built around a large central water feature. It is lovely but a breeding ground for mosquitos and each summer I get nasty bites. As my baby is due in July I need to be able to hang a mosquito net over the basket and I thought the easiest way to do this would be to hang it from the hood. Thanks again for the helpful advice. I'll have a look at the ebay seller.
