Anyone here in a similar position? I'm feeling a bit of an odd one out on forums now where I don't feel pregnant pregnant and I don't feel infertile infertile, and thought I'd see if others were in the same, tentative situation. I don't feel like I'm ready to join the main May 2024 gang until I'm more confident this will continue.

I'm only 4 weeks 5 days :/

@countrypunk in 14 weeks 4 days. I’ve felt wiggles since about week 10. They are getting more noticeable as time goes on.

well I got my medication from the hospital. 10 days of blood thinners they said yesterday. Imagine my face when husband comes in with medication and it’s for 6 weeks!!! 6 weeks of injections it is then. I’m gona double check in the week because it seems mad. Doing the ivf injections was hard enough.

ASGIRC · 27/10/2023 18:53

@countrypunk exactly. I definitely would not recommend it to people who stress!
Im pretty chill in general, so while I do have my wobbles, I never panicked when I couldnt hear the heartbeat.
In a way its kinda worse now that I HAVE, cause what if I dont the next time???

I still have not felt any movement. Not even anything I could mistake for gas.

Everything Ive read says that until 24 weeks it isnt worrying at all if you dont feel steady movement, as the baby is still pretty small, and just a change in position can make the movements not felt!

TheBirdintheCave · 27/10/2023 20:45

@CazzyM1983 Glad someone else has felt them this early 😅 Mine started at 10 weeks too. Proper goldfish in a bag wiggles.

IVFAlone · 27/10/2023 22:01

Is everyone already feeling movement? I’m 11w and I haven’t even felt a flutter yet, which makes me nervous for my 12w appt 😩

CazzyM1983 · 27/10/2023 22:29

@IVFAlone i first felt weird bubbles at 6 weeks and then nothing til 10 weeks. I think I could feel it at 9 weeks but I assumed it was wind 🤣
my friend never felt her baby move the whole pregnancy because of how her placenta was and my other friend her baby was just super chill and didn’t dance too much. I wouldn’t worry too much.
also I’m adhd and asd so I can be hyper aware of bodily sensations.

countrypunk · 27/10/2023 22:42

@IVFAlone I'm 19 weeks and have only started to over the past week or so. Most people don't feel it until about 18 to 20 weeks, sometimes as late as 24. Don't worry!

Oh hey also ASD over here :) And yeah it is a known phenomenon that we feel things extra early due to sensory issues.

Hi everyone. I'm 5w+1 today from a FET cycle and due end of June. Too scared to be overjoyed and just can't see myself being pregnant.
I've been building up the courage to join in for the past few days. I've previously had 2 unlucky rounds of ICSI, a natural pregnancy that ended in a late miscarriage due to trisomy, then a spontaneous healthy pregnancy that resulted in my DD who is now 2. We've been trying naturally for some time but just having lots of chemicals....so went ahead with fertility treatment. I thought it would be easier as we already have a child but I actually have found it so much harder (I think I'm afraid this is my last-last chance).

It's been ok so far. Hcg blood results looked ok....but just now been to the toilet to experience bright red blood when wiping. I've had on/off cramping but nothing too serious but now I'm feeling like I'm cramping more - or my mind is now playing tricks on me. Im scared senseless now.

hopefulmum46 · 28/10/2023 07:01

@ASGIRC I'm 16+6 and haven't felt any movement yet. I had my midwife appointment yesterday though and she found the heartbeat and could hear baby kicking, but even knowing it was happening I still couldn't feel it. So it's nothing to worry about. She said that it can take up to 20-22 weeks before you start feeling it reliably.

Jpos · 28/10/2023 10:58

I'm 8+4 after FET but reaaaally hope I feel something early to make it all feel more real.
All still good so far just slight indigestion but not a lot more. I've always suffered with pains and twinges as have endo so feeling all-sorts still and just trying to trust that my body knows what it should do... Never got this far before so something is going right this time🤞💪

@WhatTheFudge0 sorry you're feeling so worried, all you can do is contact your team to express concerns and they may scan early or so blood tests for you? Don't worry alone just speak to them.
Bleeding can be ok and expected for some around 6weeks, I was warned about it, but if lots of fresh red better to be checked over (randomly my mum had 2 full normal monthly periods when pregnant with me so only knew about the pregnancy because she went off coffee... some people bleed a lot and and all is still ok) so it's not a definite sign of anything bad, but know it can be too so just reach out as better to be sure than to be worrying. They might find out you need hormonal support or something too so worth speaking to them x

Jpos · 28/10/2023 11:03

@ASGIRC so glad the scan was good and you heard the heart beat etc. Really lovely to know it's moving around in there even if you can't feel it yet ❤️ I can see mine being super chilled until the end just to wind me up haha cheekyness runs in my family and they start young. One of my mum's earliest memories of seeing my personality was at around 6 months when I looked her in the eye and but her nipple before grinning at her 😂 expect the personality trait to continue... If we're lucky enough to get to term reckon I'll be in for some fun haha.

Im 17+3 and I feel absolutely NOTHING.
I was using the doppler and hearing the baby move around and kick like MAD, and I felt NOT. A. THING!
It is extremely unlikely to feel anything before 18 weeks, particularly if it is your first pregnancy.
This is nothing to worry about and Im sure your 12 week scan will be great!

I have an anterior placenta as well, so most kicks will be absorbed by it, and I have prepared myself to not feel anything until Im about 24 weeks, in time for Christmas! LOL

Im sure this girl is growing steadily, but my bump is still nowhere to be seen. However now I need it to stay hidden for another 5 weeks, which is when I want to tell work!

@Jpos it wasnt a scan! I have a doppler at home, and this week was the first time I was able to pick up the babys heartbeat, and not just the placenta. I had heard some movement before, though.

KG1244 · 29/10/2023 09:36

KG1244 · 29/10/2023 18:50

Thanks all ❤️❤️❤️ It’s at 14:20. Why couldn’t they give me a morning slot?! Will let you all know how I get on xxx

countrypunk · 30/10/2023 08:03

Good luck today @KG1244 🙂

WhatTheFudge0 · 30/10/2023 11:47

Thank you @Jpos and @thislittlebird. Ive had no further bright red blood since Friday night- just some pale pink/brown spotting on/off on Saturday. I couldn't get a referral from out of hours to epu over the weekend and don't think I need it right now. Will see how I get on.
It could be just the progesterone pessaries causing irritation.
I'm 5w+4 today, feels like an eternity already. First scan is booked for 8th Nov.

Good luck for your scan this afternoon 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼for you @KG1244

KG1244 · 30/10/2023 17:09

Thanks all for the love. All went well ❤️

PollywithaP · 30/10/2023 17:23

@KG1244 That’s great news! Hopefully you can relax a little now.

MediaMinion · 30/10/2023 17:28

Hi everyone,

Tentatively adding myself to the group.
We're 5+4 today. Same as @WhatTheFudge0.

I know I should know better but I was worried over the weekend that we didn't get a 3+ on a clearblue digital. I test Saturday and yesterday. Care were willing to do a blood test for me this morning that came back at 3202 and said that's where it should be so I don't need another test. I'm so shocked it's that high with no 3+ but there we are, they're really not accurate.

They've also offered a scan on Thursday when I'll be 6 weeks, so I'm quite impressed with them actually.

The beta from today is the highest we've ever got, we lose ours between 5 and 6 weeks so I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself. My lower back is niggling and I've barely got any pregnancy symptoms but that's probably due to the prednisone, so everything is over thought at the moment but just taking it one day at a time.

Hope to become a regular on the thread!

CazzyM1983 · 30/10/2023 20:57

@MediaMinion welcome! You with care fertility? They did my treatment. How have you found them? I’m amazed they agreed to do a blood test lol As you might be able to tell, I didn’t have a good experience but I’m pregnant so it is what it is!

@KG1244 super pleased for you! Glad scan went well x
