Anyone had any experience of HPV in pregnancy? A doctor told me I have a filaform wart but didn’t go into detail. After doing some research I can see it’s linked with HPV. Have tried to get more answers from drs but haven’t had much luck. I am really worried and confused. I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant.

Where is the wart?
Why would you be worried about a wart in pregnancy?
Not all forms of hpv are high risk and I imagine the one that causes those warts is low risk

It’s on my areola. I am not sure whether I should be concerned about having HPV, whether it’s high or low risk, while pregnant. Worried about baby, not me.

There is a small risk to pass to baby if you naturally give birth. You should decide this with your dr. But it's not sth to worry about. Good luck

I had my cervical screening come back as HPV positive while pregnant. Midwife and GP had no clue on what that meant. Spoke to Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and they put my mind at ease. No need to worry about having it while pregnant.
