Me! I can't say my first reaction was 😍 (maybe more 😱) but we're getting used to it. 😂 I'm 15 weeks.

Congratulations both. Did either of you suspect?

@pamshortsbrokenbothherlegs Ahh it is so scary isn't it!! We still laugh and say "2!!!!" every now and again 😅

I suspected purely because mine was via IVF and we transferred 2 embryo's back in! We have had 5 transfers before this and none had implanted so why would two!?? Was our thought 😅It was our last round of IVF too so we just feel super lucky!

Congrats to you mummies of twins to be! Did you have any symptoms that suggested it as a possibility before you found out? I have non identical twin aunts on my mums side. Currently, I am 9 weeks pregnant with our first. I am absolutely exhausted all the time and my shape has already changed. I had the normal bloating but there is now a definite tummy bump/arch. First scan in a few weeks so will see.

I had my first twins 8/7 two identical boys
born 8weeks early they turn 12 weeks this Saturday I still can’t believe it myself I sit there sometimes when they asleep and say to my partner can’t believe we have two 🤣 but I wouldn’t change it for anything

I'm currently 18 weeks and expecting twins in Feb. I'm so excited but also slightly terrified!
It's my first pregnancy and I'm 41. It was our first round of IVF so still pinching ourselves 😊😊

We've got twins confirmed today too, at 6+6:) it's an IVF pregnancy after we transferred two embryos, still feels so unreal they both stuck and are doing well ☺️

Early days but hopefully both will make it till the end 🤞 lovely to be in this fortunate group ❤️

@Twimum23 ahh congratulations! You sound like you've adapted well to two! Me and my partner say that now and we are only 4 weeks.. constantly just laugh out loud and say "2!!!!!" 😂

@Ladybug17 Congratulations! First round and you got two!! so happy for you! We are the same, very excited and very terrified! How is your pregnancy going? Are yours identical?

@Summerishere83 Amazing news, congratulations! We were the same as you, 2 embryos implanted! I was amazed at my 12 week scan at just how much they had grown from first 7 week scan!

Awww awesome congrats all. My hubby nearly fell of the hospital chair when we found we were having twins. Now we have nearly 2 year old girls little scamp's

They aren't identical.
The pregnancy has been ok until last week - I had heavy bleeding and contractions 😬. I can't tell you how petrified we were but it turns out my babies are fighters and we got through it so now on bedrest 😔

Hi ladies
I'm taking pregnacare with omega 3 and it just occurred to me I never checked how much I'm supposed to take for twins? Is it double the amount?
I've also been having some unsettling pains and occasional sharp cramps since yesterday, no bleeding, but still not sure what to make of it. I hadn't had cramps since week 6, I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and really not liking the sharp cramps. Concerned about vanishing twin syndrome and how common it turns out it is.

@Summerishere83 i just took the pregnacare one as it says on the packet the only thing extra I took was a high amount of vit d which was prescribed by the doctor I think it was 800g (I think)
starting to do a sleep routine with mine now and it’s tough the first initial settling is a nightmare but once they are down about 7.30-8ish they sleep till around 6am

@Summerishere83 Hi I'm 16 weeks now and I got sharp pains on my right side for a while and all the pregnancy apps told me it was normal and most likely round ligament pain! Hopefully it's just that! If you have any worries don't be afraid to ask your midwife :)
