Positive then negative

Hi everyone, I took this test this morning, the line came within the time frame and is pink so I want to say It’s positive but I’m still concerned (I’m a nervous wreck in most things 🤣) I did another one a few hours later and it seems negative, I think it has an even fainter line but I’m just thinking either the first one is faulty and evil and I’m not pregnant or the hormones weren’t enough and I need to be more patient?

what do you guys think, pregnant or no? I’m in a lot of shock so sorry for the ramble. I’m not sure if I should tell hubby until I’m 100% as he will not be best pleased!

They both look positive but better to do it with first urine of the day rather than a few times a day.

I’ve just realised I’ve posted two pictures of the same test 🤦🏻‍♀️ the pictures were with first urine then the next one was hours later and so faint/practically non existent. I think you’re right though first thing in the morning is the one to do! From this would you think I’m pregnant?

@Moomoo2376 I would say that you are probably still pregnant since the second was taken later so not first urine and probably too diluted. Do one again tomorrow morning.

I’m not sure if I’m honest! I have irregular periods so it could have been any time. I did have some very light spotting around 4 weeks ago though? I thought it was the start of my period but it never materialised and just went away, I’ve had no period and no signs of it (I get seriously bed pms so I am usually quite aware of when it will come) I keep thinking I must have done the test wrong and it’s a false positive 😂

sorry to jump on here but I’m kind of on the same boat… I took a test last night and got a faint positive I think, then when I woke up today I done another test and it looks negative. I think I had some implantation bleeding yesterday and the day before (like brown spotting). I’ll drop a picture below of my faint positive test l. I don’t think it is an evaporation line because it appeared instantly. Any second opinions? X

@Mummy220 I think both are faint positive but I would try again tomorrow or in a couple of days. How many DPOs are you?

@TTCbaby2023 My periods are quite irregular so I don’t know when I ovulate, I think I ovulate quite early to be honest and my last period finished about 2 weeks ago.

@Mummy220 I am confused, you said your last period finished 2 weeks ago. How did your period last? and how long is your cycle normally?

@TTCbaby2023 My periods are irregular so my cycle doesn’t last the same number of days each month. My period finished up 2 weeks ago and it lasted 8 days x

@Mummy220 That's a very short cycle, not impossible to conceive but the best you can do is monitor it every day or every other day to see if the line gets darker at this stage.

hey! So I did this first thing again, I don’t tend to like clear blue but I impulse bought it cause it’s all they had. This showed up still faint but I can still see it and it’s blue in colour?! I’ve got pink dye ones I like
coming later today and I’ve stored my morning wee ready for it. The things we do to find out if we are pregnant are barmy 🤣🤣🤣 I promise I’m not normally in the habit of saving my wee 😂😂😂

@Moomoo2376 There's definitely a line! Did that blue appear in the time frame indicated? Try the pink dye for comparison and maybe in a couple of days a digital but it looks very promising 😊

Yeah so it came up really really faint just after I did it and then slowly got darker but still faint, I suppose maybe not darker but more pigmented in colour? But it came in within the 10 minutes.

I visited EPU three times for bleeds in early pregnancy. First time for a light brown type bleed second two for heavier darker bleeds. Turned out to be something called a subchorionic haematoma , which is a blood clot in the womb that usually doesn’t impact baby. They are especially common in IVF pregnancy (mine was not IVF but I was an older mother at 38). Baby is now a year and doing fab.x
