Is this normal at 6 weeks?

6 wks on the dot today so naturally overthinking every tiny symptom, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this and had a positive outcome.

I have been cramping on and off since week 3/4 which hasn’t felt worrying, but yesterday when wiping I saw a small amount of light brown watery discharge, looks like old blood. This has cropped up a few times during the day yesterday and again today.

This combined with the cramping and the fact that my boobs randomly don’t feel as sore today has got me a tad worried. This is my first pregnancy and I have pcos, am I overthinking this or should I be ringing EPU? We have a private early scan booked for next weekend which currently feels years away.

& worth noting, no sex recently but went on a long walk over the weekend. Can I have overdone it?

Ty! X

I had cramping until about 12 weeks, and some light bleeding around 6 weeks. I spoke to my doctor who wasn’t massively concerned unless it continued or got worse and then he would refer me to the EPU. I would keep an eye out or maybe ring your doctor if you are really concerned

I had spotting for about 4 weeks and ended up having to go to early Pregnancy unit twice. They were lovely and really supportive, and now 12 weeks pregnant, all is fine and spotting has stopped. Apparently embryo implants around 6 weeks and can cause bleeding

@Glitterb @Kel0992 thank you both. Think I will keep and eye and if it doesn’t stop in the next day or so will ring in. xx
